The goals of the foundation are the protection and the conservation of the tropical flora and fauna, supporting
- research relevant to nature and species conservation
- projects on habitat and species conservation
- programmes incorporating community-based sustainable resource use
- rainforest restauration
- education programmes
- expert's report and examination of measures for nature and species conservation
- publicity for logistic and financial realization of the goals
The foundation for Tropical Nature and Species Conservation (NAT) was founded in 1997 and was registered as a corporation carrying tax privileges by the revenue-office in Bietigheim-Bissingen (Consecutive No. 12).
The foundation is recognized as "in the public interest" and "deserving to be promoted". We give receipts for donations above EUR 50,-.
